When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in server log files that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the referrer URL, and browser and operating system details.

This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an error-free presentation).

This website sets no cookies for analytics, tracking, or advertising, and embeds no analytics services. Your language is detected solely from your browser's language setting and is not stored.

On the online booking page we embed a form provided by taxi.de GmbH. Opening that page establishes a connection to the taxi.de servers, transmitting your IP address to taxi.de. The details you enter in the form (including pick-up point, destination, time, and contact details) are transmitted to taxi.de and passed on to us in order to arrange your journey.

If you call, write, or message us on WhatsApp, we process the details you provide in order to handle your inquiry and carry out your journey. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Please note: WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited. When you use WhatsApp, connection and usage data is processed by that provider, and transfer to third countries cannot be ruled out. If you would rather avoid this, please use the phone or email instead.

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes described, or for as long as statutory retention periods require.

You can ask us at any time to delete the personal data we hold about you. An informal email to info@citytaxi-kl.de with the subject "Data deletion" is enough; please include your name and the phone number or email address you booked with, so we can find the right records.

We will confirm the deletion. If a statutory retention period — a tax one, for example — prevents us deleting something immediately, we will tell you which data is affected and when it will go. Processing is restricted in the meantime.

The same applies to access, correction, and data portability: an email to the same address is all it takes.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and the right to object (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate.
