Reliably on time for your treatment
When you have to travel for treatment regularly, one thing matters above all: the taxi being there when it should be. We drive medical journeys across Kaiserslautern and the surrounding towns, at fixed appointment times, early in the morning and at weekends.
Recurring appointments such as dialysis or a course of radiotherapy can be scheduled as a standing arrangement, so you do not have to call ahead of every single journey.

What we cannot offer
We carry seated passengers only. Transport in a wheelchair, or lying down on a stretcher, is not possible in our vehicles.

Cover by your health insurer
For a medical journey paid by your health insurer you need a doctor's prescription for patient transport (Verordnung einer Krankenbeförderung, form Muster 4). Journeys for outpatient treatment must be approved by the insurer in advance; for dialysis, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy that approval is normally granted.
Adults with statutory insurance pay a co-payment of 10 percent of the fare, at least 5 and at most 10 euros per journey. If you are exempt from co-payments, please bring your exemption certificate.
Your health insurer always makes the final decision on cover. If in doubt, check with them before booking. We are of course happy to drive you without a prescription too — in that case it is an ordinary taxi journey at the official taxi tariff.

Which health insurers do you drive for?
We drive for all health insurers. Simply bring your prescription along to the journey.
Do I need a prescription from my doctor?
For the journey to be billed to your health insurer, yes: your doctor issues a prescription for patient transport (Muster 4). Without one we will still drive you, but as an ordinary taxi journey at the official taxi tariff.
How much is the co-payment?
Adults with statutory insurance pay 10 percent of the fare, at least 5 and at most 10 euros per journey. With an exemption certificate the co-payment does not apply.
Can you take me in a wheelchair?
No. We carry seated passengers only and cannot provide wheelchair or stretcher transport. A dedicated patient transport service is the right contact for those journeys.
Do you handle regular dialysis journeys?
Yes. We drive dialysis appointments regularly on a fixed schedule. Get in touch and we will put your appointments in the diary as a standing booking.
How far in advance should I book a medical journey?
Ideally let us know a day ahead so we can reserve a vehicle. We will always try to make short-notice journeys work as well — just call.
